Katie was born January 29, 1998 in Austin, TX, the daughter of Kelly Anne Fusco and Anthony Charles Fusco. She was a graduate of Dover High School Class of 2016 and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Church in Dover Plains. She worked as a self-employed freelance artist. Katie was the mother of Bennett Kieron Pladl who was born on September 1, 2017 in Raleigh, NC.Katie created beautiful art throughout her life and was in the process of pursuing a career using these talents and passions. Katie loved all animals with a special fondness for rescuing stray cats. Katie was also a superior drummer.Besides her mother and grandmother, Lucille Marino Fusco of Waterbury, CT, she is also survived by her sister, Nicole Anne Fusco and her partner, Hy Carrel of San Francisco, CA; three uncles, Cary Gould and James Gould of Syracuse, NY, Lawrence Fusco, and six cousins. Her family also mourns the untimely deaths of her beloved father, Anthony Charles Fusco of Wingdale, NY, and her dear infant son, Bennett Kieron Pladl who was her world.Calling hours for Katie, her father Tony Fusco and her infant son Bennett Kieron Pladl will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Friday, April 20, 2018 at the Hufcut Funeral Home, 3159 Route 22, Dover Plains, NY 12522.
